DRY AND DYNAMIC FOUNTAIN IN THE HEART OF LA PAZ (BOLIVIA)

This project of a dry deck fountain is carried out within the framework of the commemoration of the 212 years of the Libertarian Scream of 1809, July 16th, at which time the Bolivian people achieved their independence.
The place chosen for the location of this dynamic fountain is the Park of Cultures and Mother Earth, wishing to synthesize in a single space, bolivian culture and art, in a close connection with its nature and biological diversity.

The park occupies part of the land of the old railway station on a constructed area of 53500.91m2. It is organized into three main areas: a) the Square of Cultures, b) the Taypi and c) the Macro Regions promenade, which interrelate to show us the systems of life, through cultural expressions that are determined both by the territorial configuration, as well as by biological diversity and climate.

WATERBOY BY SAFERAIN

From the hand of our client Aquasoft we became part of this majestic project. Within zone B: the Taypi, we can enjoy a gigantic fountain with 95 Waterboys Play, two water curtains and an architectural fountain.

A UNIQUE SPACE FOR FUN AND MEETING

The Taypi is a meeting area characterized by the Chacana, rose of the winds and dancing waters. This project is intimately linked to bolivian culture.
It is the perfect space for the meeting of artists of all kinds. Where they have stages to express music, roots and culture.
In the same way, they wanted to bring together the Paceños in a single space. In it, water plays a primary role. Periodically, events called ‘the show of dancing waters’ are held, with different shows throughout the day.
In these shows, children and adults enjoy the multiple play possibilities offered by SafeRain's Waterboys.
Light, music and water to delight any of its visitors.
An idyllic place to enjoy with family and friends.

OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS OF SAFERAIN TO THE PARK

In addition to the dry fountain of dancing water jets, 2 water curtains were incorporated in different locations of the park, an architectural fountain that decorates the rear with a vertical garden of natural plants and a dynamic fountain more in the form of Chacana, which is an andean cross. Located all in the Taypi sector which is a meeting place.

LA CHACANA

In this large ornamental fountain in the shape of an andean cross, various SafeRain materials were used to achieve the desired effects and dynamisms.
A Geyser model nozzle was placed in the central part, fed by a submersible pump and illuminated by 4 of our LAKE RGB spotlights. Then 24 spraying jet plus without lighting and 4 waterfallsare added. On the other hand, we also have 28 Lance Jets with RGB lighting.
These assemblies are all powered by submersible pumps pumps and solenoid valves. These are responsible for the dynamism of the fountain, using only 2 submersible pumps and a single circuit for 4 cascades and 28 lances, thus allowing the individual actuation of each jet by activating or deactivating its corresponding solenoid valves creating dynamic water games.
The control of pumps, lights and solenoid valves is carried out through a control panel that works with its own technology designed by Aquasoft.

SNAKE FOUNTAIN

This dry fountain in its entirety is the place where the ‘dancing water shows’ take place.
The snake's body consists of 60 Lance Jets and 4 Dancing Nozzles that are illuminated by 3 LAKE RGB spotlights at the ends of the body.
The matrix is composed of 95 Waterboys Play placed in 5 rows of 19 elements each, illuminated with 18W SEA RGB crowns and double solenoid valve.
12 submersible pumps have been used for a total of 164 jets and this allows the individual actuation of each nozzle by activating or deactivating its corresponding solenoid valve. Thanks to this, we managed to create water games in the entire extension of the dry fountain being able to create waves or very fun chases.
