A PEARL IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

If you hear someone scream: " Mallorca!", surely its words evoke summer, its characteristic smells of coconut, salt and beach. Bathed by turquoise waters, the largest island in Spain is in the central part of the balearic islands.

SON AMAR. SOME HISTORY…

We'll have to move them to the 16th century. Located in the foothills of the Sierra de Tramontana, stands imposing the beautiful estate of Son Amar It was owned by the Marquis of Raiguer, Don Juan Amar. For more than 400 years, it had a completely agricultural and livestock use.

Back in the 60s it was acquired by the Seguí-Colón family. The brothers, Damián and Cristóbal, turned in 1982, the house, into the restaurant-show we know today.

Some years later, after a turbulent sailing trip and as part of a wonderful coincidence, Margaret Whittaker (1948-2025), along with her husband Tony arrived on the island. It was in the 90s and both became regulars of the Son Amar Restaurant, who would tell them then that years later they would be the owners, along with a group of entrepreneurs, of such a magnificent estate.

Since 2012, Margaret was in front of Son Amar lonely. Without experience in the world of entertainment, she dreamed of relaunching the restaurant and making it the reference place of Mallorca night, which she achieved in spades.

During 2016, they contacted the SafeRain delegation in Godella (Valencia). They were looking for advice for the remodeling of the old dancing musical fountain of the estate.

Our team traveled to the facilities of Son Amar, to assess in situ and be able to carry out a detailed project of the needs and desires of our customers.

Through digital media, life to what months later would become one of the largest visual shows worldwide from dynamic musical fountains.

THE CRONW JEWEL

To surprise you must innovate and take risks, as well as to become a reference within any sector.

In this perfect symbiosis between Son Amar and SafeRain all this casuistry occurred. The remodeling required a large economic investment on the part of the client and SafeRain used all its resources to satisfy the dream of the owners of Son Amar.

Most of the elements that make up this great dynamic dynamic musical fountain were designed to measure this picturesque space. Cake-shaped Collectors with several circular rings and a central dome in both cases, emulating those impeccable and delicious wedding cakes. Different fountain nozzles with totally new hydraulic effects, such as waves or parabolic arcs and others that were already included in the SafeRain catalog: snowy jets, jet fans or our famous dancing nozzle. For the lighting we used Lake RGB spotlights and as a result, a Smart Fountain Manager Pro Max Music capable of making this gigantic body of water dance.
