The architectural fountains installed by Safe-Rain were greatly placed at the Start of the 71st Edition of the Cycling Tour of Spain 2016. The Inaugural Event of the Tour took place on August 20th in the fine Galician village of Laias (Ourense). The feat that the Ancud Schooner crew achieved in the mid-19th century is a real highlight that the Chilean nation treasures in its recent historical memory. In order to homage the sailors who annexed the Strait of Magellan to Chile, a great architectural fountain was inaugurated in January 2014 in Punta Arenas, the far-away region of the Strait of Magellan where the Chilote crew accomplished the annexation. The architectural fountain, built to commemorate the 169th anniversary of the expedition, depicts the bow of the schooner emerging from a group of rocks.
